标准的第26章EMC requirements中抗扰度（Immunity）和电磁反射（Emission）都因为产品特性而不需要测试，原文如下：
26.1 Immunity
Switches within the scope of this standard are tolerant of electromagnetic disturbances and therefore no immunity tests are necessary.
26.2 Emission
Electromagnetic disturbances may only be generated during switching operations. Since this is not continuous no emission tests are necessary.
但在Part 2的Particular requirements中对各类型的电子开关又给出了具体的测试要求，以EN 为例，该标准是电子开关Electronic switches的特殊要求，标准的第26章也对应分为26.1 Immunity和26.2 Emission两节，让我们来看看具体的测试项目。
首先，EMC测试需要的样板数量是3个，The tests are carried out with three new specimens，且测试需要在3个样板上分别进行。这是因为在26.1 Immunity测试中，如果可能的话，测试需在如下的三种状态下进行：
a) in the on-state, highest setting,
b) in the on-state, lowest setting,
c) in the off-state.
