2013 is another beautiful year for Berninton Estate. The wine is a fine example of Australia Shiraz from a premium region grown under a warm, dry climate. Maturing in French barrels for 18 months, the colour is deep red. The nose is ripe with a touch of spiciness while the palate is jammy and spicy with velvety tannins and a long dry, firm finish. The wine can be enjoyed now or cellared for several years to gain additional complexity and development.
