This wine has hallmark characters from South Australia. Matured in oak for 18 months, it shows deep plum colour with purple hues. This follows on to the nose which is lifted, spicy with intense dark berry fruits, and liquorice. The palate is interwovern with subtle oak characters of dark chocolate and vanillin, a rich and full mid-palate. The tannins are soft and integrated to provide structure, depth and length to the finish. The wine can be enjoyed now or cellared for several years for additional complexity and development.
