This wine was from selected batches of Shiraz grapes grown in our Bakers Gully vineyard on its largely tough and gravelly ironstone soils. Planted in the early 70’s, Bakers Gully is our premier vineyard and produces deeply coloured, richly flavoured Shiraz wines with gamey, spicy aromas and flavours. This wine has been matured for twenty four months in 100 percent French oak Hogsheads.
