Each vintage up to fifteen fo our best barrels of Cabernet Sauvignon are selected to be included in the Fifteen Barrels blend. This year 12 barrels were chosen to be included and these were entirely from our unique, low yielding Bakers Gully vineyard. Planted in the 70's, this vineyard grows old clone vines in tough ironstone soils. Maturation was in 75% New American Hogsheads and 25% New French Hogsheads for 24 months. The wine has characters of mint, cedar and spice, with a rich, firmly structured palate.
