清中期《南窑笔记》作者不详，成书时间大约清雍正至乾隆时期)中写到：“成、正、嘉、万俱
有斗彩、五彩、填彩三种。关于坯上用青料画花鸟半体，复入彩料，凑其全体，名曰斗彩；填彩者
，青料双勾花鸟、人物之类于坯胎，成后复入彩炉填入五色，名曰填彩；其五彩则素瓷纯用彩料填
出者是也。”此段记载具有重要的研究价值。《南窑笔记》是出现“斗彩”之说最早的一本著作，
但分析得不够全面。与实物对照，记载中的“填彩”与“五彩”较准确。这里所说的五彩为纯釉上
五彩。填彩为斗彩中的一种施彩方法。关于“凑其全体名曰斗彩”的说法与成化斗彩传世品的施彩
方法不符，可能作者将青花五彩称为斗彩，因为这种“凑其全体”的画法实属青花五彩类。《南窑
笔记》作者在当时也是将“斗彩”与“五彩”相为混淆，但能将明代彩瓷划分出斗彩、五彩、填彩
三大类，实难能可贵，对后世彩瓷研究也具有积极影响。

But the analysis is not
comprehensive enough. Compared with the physical objects, the "fill color" and "five
colors" in the record are more accurate. The five colors here are on pure glaze
