洪憲是袁世凱1916年稱帝時的年號。袁世凱于1915年12月宣布恢複帝制，建立中華帝國，並改元洪憲。1916年1月1日，登皇帝位，鑄造了少量洪憲飛龍紀念幣，1916年3月22日，內外交困，被迫宣布撤消帝制，恢複民國。所鑄造洪憲飛龍紀念幣，後銷毀大半。
1 916袁世凱像中華帝國洪憲紀元L.GIORGI簽字版飛龍幣，由天津造幣總廠試鑄，有意大利雕刻師L.GIORGI簽名。L.GIORGI曾在年間，服務于天津造幣廠，擔任首席設計師及總雕刻師。
此幣由意大利雕版師魯爾智•喬治雕模天津造幣廠鑄造。銀幣的規格爲庫平七錢二分成色高含銀量爲90%。 洪憲飛龍銀幣正面爲袁世凱九分臉正面及胸像面部稍左側。袁世凱身著大元帥服,頭戴鹭羽高纓冠,胸前佩戴大勳章。背面中央爲飛龍圖案。背面中央爲飛龍，上面镌“中華帝國”，下面镌“洪憲紀元”，制作精美此幣設計具有明顯的帝王色彩鑄工精美傳世不多極爲珍貴。此幣人像五官清晰，栩栩如生，龍鱗飽滿立體，呼之欲出，堪稱中國近代機制幣經典之作，目前所知存世極少。品相堪稱完美，是集中央鑄幣史料價值和收藏價值于一身的頂級珍品，更是奠定收藏家民國銀圓收藏地位。
