According to the website of Taiwan Electronic Times, Asus Computer lost NT$2.82 billion (US$91.5 million) in the fourth quarter of 2018 and NT$38 per share. Among them, the restructuring of smartphone business resulted in a one-time loss of NT$6.2 billion. In 2018, the company's annual net profit fell 73% year-on-year to NT$4.24 billion, and its earnings per share reached NT$5.70, a new low since 2009.
