澳大利亚的标准机构（SAA）为Standards Australia International Limited，其前身是1992年成立的Australian Commonwealth Engineering Standards Association，1929年改为Standards Association of Australian （SAA）。 把澳大利亚认证称为SAA认证应根据“SAA制定的标准来认证”的简称，但作为标准制定机构，SAA从没有颁发过产品认证证书。
