Gauss Mathematics Contests高斯数学竞赛以德国著名的数学家、物理学家和天文学家JohannCarl Friedrich Gauss（1777年4月30日－1855年2月23日）的名字命名，由加拿大滑铁卢大学University of Waterloo旗下The Centire for Education in Mathematics and Computing（CEMC）举办。
Gauss数学竞赛作为加拿大初中阶段的数学竞赛之一，每年有大量的海内外注册学校组织7-8年级对数学极有兴趣的学生参加，其竞赛内容的范围均在加拿大各省的教学大纲范围内。
