Butylated hydroxyanisole
Antioxidant, a mixture of 2-tert-butyl-4-methoxyphenol (Prod. No. LKT-B8070) and 3-tert-butyl-4-methoxyphenol (Prod. No. LKT-B8071). Induces phase II detoxifying enzymes that inhibit the action of carcinogens. Dietary BHA is also found inducing intestinal and hepatic MSP23 (peroxiredixin).
