英语文章中转折词往往是快速阅读的标志词, 作者往往先叙述或介绍常人的观点、他人的态度、看法, 然后再提出自己的想法或与之不同的观点, 即作者本人的意图或事实真相及本文的主旨。两者之间常用but, however, yet, in spite of,though, although, even though, even if等连词, 或用but, in fact, onthe contrary, in contrast等短语连接。
