EN: 音压不得超过100 dB。而EN: Player 的Max output voltage 不得超过150 mV;Headphone 的 Wideband characteristics voltage不得小于75 mV。
产品须于无响室内执行测试，避免环境杂音干扰。耳机装置于标准人工耳上，人工耳内装置麦克风以收集耳机所发出的声音。以Audio analyser分析纪录各音频的音压值 (LAeq)。音响产品播放的信号强度digital signal (CD, DVD, MP3)为 –10dB，analogue signal cassette为-6dB。FM收音机需用天线发射载拨讯号(-6dB)以便接收。音响的音量调整纽调到音量，总共要量测5次，取五次的平均值。
