2009年香港盈聚国际春拍中隋唐十二生肖四神镜拍至150万元,秋拍中一件唐代海兽葡萄镜以300万元成交。2004年秋拍至今年秋拍,上海古玩盈聚交易中央在春秋大拍推出13场铜镜拍卖,除2004年秋(铜镜55方)、2005年春(铜镜178方)是合并在古钱币专场拍卖外,2005年秋拍即将铜镜作为自力的专场来运作,上拍11个专场。成交额也从2005年秋的410.2万元,生长到了今年春拍的1626.5万元,成为全球铜镜拍卖的主要平台,并起源构建起中国古代铜镜价值价钱评估系统。提到铜镜珍藏拍卖,无不以香港盈聚国际的拍卖品作为样原来剖析。
2009年头,香港盈聚拍卖整体有限公司“头啖例汤”,开启了中国文物市场第一次铜镜拍卖专场,所有拍品均为民国时期北京著名珍藏家关祖章先生的旧藏。143面铜镜所有以高于预期的价钱顺遂成交。同年8月21日,香港可宝拍卖有限公司再将一批铜镜推出,152件铜镜成交额高达359万元。以后香港盈聚拍卖整体有限公司每年要举行两次青铜镜拍卖专场,也取得不俗的成就。
中国铜镜历史源远流长,《韩非子》记有“古之人,目短于自见,故以镜观面”。据考古发现,中国古代铜镜最初在夏代至商代初期的齐家文化中首先泛起,如1976年轻海贵南尕马台M25出土的七角星纹铜镜。
