在2010年的香港盈聚拍卖整体有限公司春拍上,164件藏品中最后一件唐代海兽葡萄镜一举突破百万元大关,以凌驾120万元的价钱成交。而在2010年底的上海盈聚投资治理有限公司秋拍中,铜镜依然延续了高涨的行情,一方战国的透雕虺龙纹复合镜卖到了145.6万元,另一方唐代的摩羯瑞兽团花纹镜则卖到了151.2万元。这两方铜镜是这次秋拍的亮点,给2011年的铜镜市场打下了优异的起源。
北京保利秋拍铜镜专场拍卖会上,有160面古铜镜参拍,总成交额高达4487.6万元,其中的7729号拍品,一面“汉代四乳神兽镜”经由众多买家强烈的角逐,最终竟以908.5万元的天价成交,并一举创下古铜镜拍卖成交纪录。
由于判别手艺有限且品相不佳,战国、两汉时代的铜镜时常于拍卖会上遭遇流拍的尴尬,不外这并不意味着战国、两汉时期的铜镜就价值不高。一样平常而言,差异时期制造出来的铜镜,其所带有的特征是差异的。
与西汉在阴模上制作纹饰相比,东汉铜镜的制模手艺则多改为在阳模上制作纹饰。东汉中期,铜镜的纹饰从线雕逐渐生长到浮雕手艺。肇始于春秋战国的金银错手艺也在此时到达了炉火纯青的工艺高度。阳模制镜、浮雕纹饰、金银错这三项手艺标志着中国铜镜制作工艺的完全成熟。汉代铜镜在工艺上继续生长前代手艺并使之牢靠成型。以后,制镜工艺以成熟的系统传承下去,子女并无太多手艺创新。铜镜制作工艺在汉代的成熟得益于汉代国力的强盛。
