指令名称Directive title ：低电压设备Low voltage equipment，2014年2月26日公布
替代指令Original Directive ：EC
新指令将于2016年4月20日起执行。各成员国必须在2016年4月19日前完成立法程序。换言之，基于旧低电压指令的VOC（符合性声明）2016年4月20日后将不被接受。
2014年5月22日，无线电设备指令（The Radio Equipment Directive，RED）EU正式在欧盟公报（OJ-Official Journal of the Europ[ean Union）上公布，并于2014年6月12日生效。该指令将取代无线电与电信终端设备指令（R&TTE指令），2016年6月12日之前，成员国应将该指令转化为成员国法律，原R&TTE指令（EC）也随之作废。2016年6月13日起，成员国应采用新无线电设备指令（RED）；2017年6月13日起，符合旧R&TTE指令的产品将不允许在欧盟市场上销售。
On May 22, 2014, RED EU Officially published in the European Union's official gazette , and take effect on June 12, 2014. The directive will replace R&TTE directive, Before June 12, 2016, member states should convert the directive to member states law and the original R&TTE directive (1999/5 / EC) is invalid. June 13, 2016, member states should adopt the new RED; from June 13, 2017 products that meet the old R&TTE directive will not be allowed in the eu market.

形式的不符合状况也列明在新指令中。新指令指出，任何会员国 应要求相关经济营运者纠正不符合状况，或有关会员国应采取一切适当措施以限制或禁止已于市场上提供的设备，或确保其设备于市场中被召回或撤走Not comply with the conditions of the official form is listed in the new instructions. 制造商应加贴CE标志于每一件个体设备上，以满足本指令的合适要求。而制造商亦应为设备模型，制定书面欧盟合规声明。当设备已投放市场，该声明应与技术文档保存一起。直至10年后，再可透过国家机构进行处置Manufacturers should label with the CE mark on each individual device, in order to meet the appropriate requirements of this directive . And manufacturers should be equipment models, writing the EU compliance statement. When a device has been put on the market, the statement should be kept with the technical documents together. Until 10years later, it can be disposal through the national agency.
新指令涵盖的产品包括新型投放于欧盟市场的产品，以及以不同形式供应的产品，包括远程销售类产品。但它并不适用于只能单独用于研究及开发设施等用途的特制评估套件New instructions covering products including new products into the EU market, and the supply of products in various forms, including remote sales products.
