This configuration allows the sensor to be turned 360° prior to securing for ease of sensor installation. Available with a sensitivity of 100 mV/g, design of the model 3166B incorporates a ceramic shear sensing element packaged in a highly rugged stainless steel housing. Units are hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments and are internally case isolated to avoid EMI/ground loop interference. The model 3166B is directly compatible with the Dytran model 6194 Immersion Proof sealing boot (sold separately).
