发电机组CE认证属于欧盟CE认证机械指令EC的范畴，内燃机驱动的交流发电机组属于普通机械，根据相应的标准做检测后，欧盟公告机构即可签发CE证书。
发电机组CE认证指令
发电机组CE认证一般涉及的欧盟CE认证指令包括：机械MD指令EC、电磁兼容EMC指令EU、低电压指令EU、噪声指令EC根据产品的不同，CE认证所需检测认证也不同。
GS认证还需要增加排放要求：97/68/EC, EC and EC (Gas Emission Directive).
