该款硬币乃中华民国元年军政府造四川银币壹圆(大字点金版)，中华民国元年(1912年)四川省军政府成都造币厂铸，民国成立后废除龙模，由四川军政府自创模型。银币直径39毫米，重量约25.5克，正面中央珠圈内镌“四川银币”四个字，四个字中间镌一朵精美的芙蓉花，象征蓉城成都珠圈外上端镌“军政府造”四个字，下端镌币值“壹圆”，左右两侧各镌一个四瓣花星，银币背面中央圆圈内镌一个篆文“汉”字，代表了新政府“大汉”的意思， 具有反清意义。有横向底纹装饰，旁围十八个小圆圈组成的圆圈，内镌纵向饰纹，象征着当年响应辛亥革命的十八个省。圈外上端镌“中华民国元年”六个字，其银字的金旁系连书四画，本品为大字点金版，是军政府造四川银币中最稀贵的版别。
